That stupid €#%+&$ oven update: The new heating element works very well, but the thermostat is bust, so the oven is always at maximum temperature, which I found out when a lovely baguette turned into a black baton in a few minutes. I just wanted to crisp it up a little bit...

We don't know whether to replace the part or be done with it and buy a new cooker!
