Obsolete words - The true meanings

I hope you agree with me, but I think the overall winner of our silly competition is View. Everybody came up with some very funny definitions, but View was on a roll!

You all know how much I love words... I came across some really weird old words and thought of our silly competitions, as we haven't had one for a while.

Write a witty definition for each of the following words, put them in a sentence, the usual stuff. And remember: No googling!

Lipstick competition

Tumbleweed came up with an idea for a competition. She found out that the shape of your lipstick as you use it can tell a lot about your personality...

Please send me a photo of your lipstick with your username and I'll take it from there. The photos would look something like the ones below:

Men can send a photo of their partner's lipstick.

Let's see how it goes... Tumbleweed thinks this it's a great idea:
