Welcome 2020!!
I shed no tears saying goodbye to 2019, another rough year for me personally, so I am happy for a brand new decade to start afresh. Some of us had a very difficult 2019 due to health issues, the loss of family, friends, or pets, and just our general wellbeing. Not that it was all doom and gloom... Remember we had much to celebrate: The wedding of Roxie's daughter, with another wedding in the works for her family; a new grandson to welcome to the world, bringing much happiness to his family and to us; twin grandsons who seemed to grow up overnight; our fun birthday parties; sharing good books and recipes with one another; our WTIOC friends working hard to make great strides in their recoveries from major health hurdles; our beautiful, fearless leader getting her groove back in Granada; getting a laugh from our handsome mascot Duncan's antics; and of course, GO BLUE!!
I say kick 2019 to the curb, turn up the music and let's all raise a glass to welcome 2020 in with gusto and the hope of a great year on the horizon!
