I found out that this is a colour without a realistic name. I couldn't find any peaches or salmon that corresponded to the actual colour that goes by either name. They're yellow or orange...
I quite like this delicate mix of orange, pink and white. It's calming, yet warm. The last picture of gorgeous flowers was snapped by our very own Lynn in her garden. Thank you, Lynn. [Enjoy the macarons, P!]

Showing off and some celebrations
This bird is really showing off his spectacular colours!
As for the celebrations, I forgot to post some cakes for Queen of Sheeba, Sleuth and our absent friend Maria T. We had a death in the family and my mind was elsewhere all last week. Today is another one of our friend's birthday, but she decided to postpone it until July 4 because of some bad memories associated with the actual date.
These cakes celebrate the June 24 trio's birthdays, better late than never! I chose a summer theme...

Turquoise
Oops! The turquoise collection should have been posted before I introduced the pastels... It seems I had my collections in the wrong order. I prefer turquoise to blue and the clothes look good on me, so what's not to like?

Another artist employs everyday objects and puts a smile on our faces
I love it when artists do this. I came across a few so far and each artist has their own unique style when using everyday objects in their creations. The following drawings are by Christoph Niemann.
