Just go with it
My brain cells have been greatly diminished in recent weeks, so this is the best I have to offer. 😏
Who likes deviled eggs?
I also managed to make oven baked spicy chicken wings this week..
So not a total loss, I did accomplish a couple of things!
Have a great day everyone 😄

What do you think?
Here are some pictures of let's say, unconventional homes. Do any of these strike your fancy? They certainly are interesting. I like a couple of them...
1) This one would make me too dizzy.
1) This one would make me too dizzy.
2) No, thank you.
3) Definitely not.
4) This one I like.
5) I would like this house in daylight, not so much after dark.
6) I am reminded of our friend Sleuth when I look at this dwelling.
7) What do you think?
This post brought to you by Roxie and Amy. Thank you for contribution Amy!

Israel Kamakawiwoʻole
This morning, a friend reminded me of Hawaiian singer/musician Israel Kamakawiwoʻole and his gorgeous rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."
Israel Kaʻanoʻi Kamakawiwoʻole (Hawaiian pronunciation: [kəˌmɐkəˌvivoˈʔole], translation: "The Fearless Eyed Man") (May 20, 1959 – June 26, 1997), also called Bruddah Iz or IZ, was a Native Hawaiian singer-songwriter, musician, and Hawaiian sovereignty activist.
His voice became famous outside Hawaii when his album Facing Future was released in 1993. His medley of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World" was released on his albums Ka ʻAnoʻi and Facing Future. It was subsequently featured in several films, television programs, and television commercials.
Along with his ukulele playing and incorporation of other genres, such as jazz and reggae, Kamakawiwoʻole remains influential in Hawaiian music.
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
You can read more about "The Voice of Hawaii" here and here.

The mysterious jar of pickles in Missouri
On the ramp that leads from I-270 North to Manchester Road, near a grocery store and a busy shopping mall, sits a quiet and mysterious jar of pickles. When it falls, breaks, or disappears, it is always replaced.
The full article explores some theories about the pickles, but I have my own theory: someone wants to make sure TW is not caught without them!

Enough with the groaners...
Good morning! It's the start of a new week, let's make the most of it. The daily grind of ups and downs will continue as always. Spring is here and as the saying goes " Hope springs eternal". The events of the weekend will be sorted out in the months to come. So for now here are a few pictures to enjoy.

Groaners
Our friend View recently had a birthday. He is no longer with us, but I thought he might have enjoyed a few of these jokes.
We miss you View! You will always be remembered. 😍

Spring Is Coming!!
This week marks the first day of spring!
The spring equinox falls on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at 5:58 P.M. EDT.
There will be a FULL MOON on the Spring Equinox!! The last time the Full Worm Moon happened less than one day of the March equinox was 19 years ago, in 2000, and the next time will be 11 years from now, in 2030.
But that’s not all: March’s full Moon will also be a supermoon, meaning that it will be slightly larger than most of the other full Moons this year.
The word equinox comes from the Latin words for “equal night”—aequus (equal) and nox (night).
On the equinox, the length of day and night is nearly equal in all parts of the world.
I'm ready for spring, are you?!

It's Saint Patrick's Day!!
Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!
I've got 2 pots of corned beef and cabbage simmering on the stove.
Is anyone else celebrating?
Wishing everyone, especially our green friend, a great day.

Lovely place
Can you imagine a blog reunion under this magnificent wisteria? Let's head to Molyvos, Isle of Lesvos, in Greece! Hey, daydreaming never hurt anyone...

Let's celebrate, it's March 14th!
March 14th is significant to me for more than just Pi day. The youngest RM family member was born on this day 24 years ago. She completed our family in the best way possible. 😃
Have a good day everyone!
