The mysterious jar of pickles in Missouri

On the ramp that leads from I-270 North to Manchester Road, near a grocery store and a busy shopping mall, sits a quiet and mysterious jar of pickles. When it falls, breaks, or disappears, it is always replaced.

The full article explores some theories about the pickles, but I have my own theory: someone wants to make sure TW is not caught without them!

Enough with the groaners...

Good morning! It's the start of a new week, let's make the most of it. The daily grind of ups and downs will continue as always. Spring is here and as the saying goes " Hope springs eternal".  The events of the weekend will be sorted out in the months to come. So for now here are a few pictures to enjoy.

Groaners

Our friend View recently had a birthday. He is no longer with us, but I thought he might have enjoyed a few of these jokes.

We miss you View! You will always be remembered. 😍

Spring Is Coming!!

This week marks the first day of spring!

The spring equinox falls on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at 5:58 P.M. EDT

There will be a FULL MOON on the Spring Equinox!!  The last time the Full Worm Moon happened less than one day of the March equinox was 19 years ago, in 2000, and the next time will be 11 years from now, in 2030.
But that’s not all: March’s full Moon will also be a supermoon, meaning that it will be slightly larger than most of the other full Moons this year.
The word equinox comes from the Latin words for “equal night”—aequus (equal) and nox (night).
On the equinox, the length of day and night is nearly equal in all parts of the world.

I'm ready for spring, are you?!

It's Saint Patrick's Day!!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!

I've got 2 pots of corned beef and cabbage simmering on the stove.
Is anyone else celebrating?

Wishing everyone, especially our green friend, a great day.
