I came across a large collection of cartoons where the roles of human and animals are reversed. I haven't included some of the very graphic images. I chose some funny ones, but others are a bit shocking.

I've just returned from a visit to the orthopedic doc. He gave me three injections of a cocktail of cortisone and anesthetic, so both my hands are very numb. The left hand is worse (2 injections), and I type on the iPad with a stylus, so I'm ok to post this. I needed a dose of cute, so here goes:

This charming photograph of a duck admiring his own reflection was taken by an elusive English photographer called Villager Jim. He lives in a very beautiful part of England, the Peak District, and his photos show a mix of landscapes and animals. His site is worth a visit.

White creatures

The idea for this post started when one of my cousins in Brazil posted a photo of her dog on Facebook a few weeks ago. I've been collecting photos of white animals since then and now I have enough nice pictures for a post. They're quite striking, eh?
