Happy New Year! UPDATE

Peter and I would like to wish all our WTIOC friends an excellent 2015. This wasn't the happiest year for some, but there are always fresh hopes when a new year starts... Much love to all of you!

A rare occurrence...

Pirate and Pirouette were having a nap together on the same sofa, which is unusual enough. I wanted to take a nice photo of them together, but Pirate was facing away from the camera, so Peter tried to get him to look my way. That's when a lot of lovey-dovey stuff ensued, a very rare occurrence indeed! Normally Pirate and Pirouette fight until he disappears through the cat flap, as she's very feisty and doesn't give up easily. Since Pirate's accident, they seem to be getting on a lot better. I suppose it's because he's spending more time indoors and has become a bit more cuddly...

Aww...

Words, words, words

These word clouds are fun. They contain words from the old days until right now. The author is British, so some of the words may have different meanings in the US and many haven't been used for centuries on either side of the pond!

Sitting pretty

These chairs don't look very comfortable, but oh boy, aren't they beautiful?

I'm very grown-up, really, I am! (and sober)

Aren't we all?

I don't think I'll ever be completely grown-up, especially at Christmas.

I'm still sober, promise!

I hope everybody is having a peaceful time today. We're having a vary lazy time, eating, listening to music or watching the TV. Christmas is a very quiet affair for us, as both our boys are away... But Pirate and Pirouette keep us amused.

Happy Christmas to all!

Best wishes, WTIOC style

Peter and I would like to wish all WTIOC readers a lovely and peaceful time in the festive season.

These guys kept us cheerful during the year and decided to dress up for the occasion. This blog would be in trouble without our furry and feathered friends!

We also need cakes!

Cheers!
