A new week

• Happy Monday! Here is a picture I captured coming home from Wisconsin last night. A troll exhibit at our local arboretum. This guy overlooks the highway which we happened to be on. It was pretty cool to  see. The sunset and shadows were just perfect. I feel so lucky to have seen it, much needed at the time.

This was a split second shot out the window of the car. I thought you might enjoy it.

Life By the Water

Wellfleet is another charming town here on the Cape.  I love looking at the fishing boats and watching the fishermen mend their nets, unload their day's catch, and ready their boat for the next day. 

Of course, I love eating what they catch!

A Quick Trip Through Provincetown

You never know what you'll see when in Provincetown, at the tip of Cape Cod.  PTown a charming little town that is very popular in the summer, when it takes on a festive atmosphere.  It's a fun place to go to eat, drink, or just stroll down the main street, all while taking in the sites.

It's the Little Things

Sometimes it's the little things that make us happy.  For me, blueberries make happy.

This weekend - for the first time in years - I was able to harvest blueberries from my yard (the darn deer and birds always beat me to the ripe berries).  They were delightful!

There are so many secrets that speak to me on Post Secret that I want to share more.

Post Secret, Part 1

Frank Warren started Post Secret as an art project.  People send him their secrets on a postcard. 

Frank posts a handful of new ones and old ones he's received every Sunday on postsecret.com.  He has published 6 books archiving the secrets, has exhibited them in the US and internationally (including a big show recently at the Smithsonian), and travels the world hosting Post Secret events (mostly at colleges). 

The variety of secrets run the gamut from poignant to heartbreaking to funny.  Here is a collection of those secrets.
