I'm sorry the posts have been a bit erratic. We were busy selling the old car we bought to tide us over while Paul and Marlee were here, and until we managed to go to London and get the new one. It's sold! We have another guy coming tomorrow to look at the old Honda, which we're selling as "spares or repair." Wish us luck...

Big birthday party for a very special person

Peter is 70 today. I still see him as the 33-year-old I met all those years ago. I only know him better, and love him more. Here's a collection of cakes, some of them depicting his favourite things: food, film, drinks, etc...

We bought a nice little car

We bought this nice car, with low mileage, in very good condition, and at a reasonable price. Peter drove it and was quite impressed. We can't do anything about insurance until tomorrow, though. We'll drive back to France early on Tuesday morning, then I'll get behind the wheel. I can't drive in London anymore, it's too crazy!

London here we go

We're at the airport waiting to board our plane to London. Unfortunately, the nice Honda we bought a few years ago has broken down, so we're going to get another car... I'll let you know how it goes.
